With this philosophy in mind, TENGA launched its brand of self-pleasure items.

 

In addition to the development of self-pleasure items, TENGA is also creating a wide range of wellness products, including food and apparel. To this date, the company has shipped out over 120 million units.

 

We are also focusing on overseas expansion, as our sales network now extends across 70+ countries and regions.

 

Additionally, our women's brand iroha, launched in March 2013, has seen growth in both its target audience and the overall self-pleasure market.

 

Since the launch of our intimate care items in March 2020, we have sold 400,000 units in total. We've also experienced substantial growth in our domestic business network, expanding from approximately 1,200 to currently over 10,000 stores.

Job Description

Mission】

Advancing our mission of "Bringing Sexuality to the Forefront for Everyone to Enjoy" through our partner distributors, key accounts, and retailers.

 

Types of Customers】

・Supermarket headquarters

・Japanese retail stores and mass merchandise retailers

 

[Job Overview]  

▼ Business negotiations (new/existing customers)

Make appointments at the headquarters of distributors, wholesalers, and retailers to conduct business negotiations.

Beyond product promotion, we also provide value-added services such as the planning of sales floor expansions and dedicated product sections to help drive our partner's sales growth.  

There is much opportunity for TENGA's name to expand overseas, so there is large potential to create new sales.

 

▼ Preparations for new business transactions

Cooperate with the legal affairs departments of partnering companies and proceed with the exchange of contracts and compliance to local laws.

Coordinate delivery of items working with logistics departments.

 

▼ Store support  

Create new store shelving, change store layouts, and make recommended sales corners after new product releases.

We maintain an environment that draws interest of customers, where they can also easily buy what they want.  

 

※ Once you've finished training, you will start taking on your own clients, with your senior colleague there to support you.  

※ Since we do not have offices in Southeast Asia, there will be a lot of travel involved.

 

Assignment

Currently, there are approximately 40 sales employees working out of the headquarters.

【Career path】

After gaining experience as a sales person, the following positions can also be achieved.

・Overseas office manager

・Sales specialist: rotating to various regions and sales channels to gain expertise

・Sales manager: responsible for each sales channel

・Sales Planning: Developing promotional strategies, supporting sales staff, managing sales data, etc.

Requirements

<Required>  

■ Sales experience

■ Business Level or higher English and Japanese

 ∟At a level where you can successfully conduct business negotiations with local customers and the head office without difficulty

■  Ability to travel overseas  

■ Regular drivers license (AT only)  

■ Basic PC skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)  

 

<Preferred>  

■ At least 2 years of sales experience

■ Proficiency in a language other than English (Chinese, etc.)

■ Experience in the retail/wholesale industry

■ E-commerce (Amazon, Shopify, etc.) operation experience

■ Excel (pivot table/VLOOKUP skills are preferred)

◆ Those who can build trusting relationships with customers such as retailers and wholesalers 

◆ Those who have imagination and can actively propose sales promotion plans and sales floor layouts

給与 月給:270,000円〜415,000円
Monthly Salary: 270,000 to 415,000 yen
Details:
Basic Salary: 225,000 to 350,000 yen
Fixed Overtime Pay: 45,000 to 65,000 yen (for 25 hours)
May be subject to the "Discretionary Labor System for Exempt

Employees" with working more than fixed working hours.
Salary will be determined based on experience, ability, and other factors.

3-month probationary period
