About this position

This position will involve overall planning and execution of marketing communications activities for our major western markets, managing an English-speaking in-house team and reporting to corporate management in Japanese.

You will lead a team of highly motivated individuals where your role will entail strategic planning of all marketing communications including PR, digital and brand communication on- and offline, while leading and guiding your team through the tactical execution of your strategy.

This is a management level role reporting to the global marketing director, working with the in-house team as well as liaising with other teams such as product development, graphic design teams and our global sales offices for the target markets.

The ideal candidate will have led a team in an area of marketing communications, and is capable of planning, budgeting and executing strategic marketing communications activities.

Due to the large amount of in-house communication involved, the candidate must have fluency and experience in communicating in both Japanese and English.

Requirements

◆Required

・Native Level English

・Business Level Japanese at Minimum

・Over 3 Years Experience in Marketing

・Experience Leading a Team (In-House or External)

・Residing in and legally eligible to work full time in Japan (resident, citizen, visa and otherwise).

◆Preferred

・Experience in Public Relations

・Experience in Sales Promotions, Events, or other forms of Communications

・Interested in and follows conversation around Sexuality and Sexual Wellness

Salary and Benefits

◆Salary

5.3m to 7m JPY/year

- Depending on level of management experience, skills and qualifications.

◆Salary Evaluation

Twice Yearly

◆Bonuses

Two (Summer, Winter) Bonuses appraised on personal performance.

One Year-End Bonus based on company performance.

◆Working Hours

09:00 ~ 18:00 (1 hour break inc.)   ※Discretionary Labour System may apply.

◆Non-working days

[Over 125 Days per Year]

Saturdays and Sundays, Public Holidays, Summer Holidays, Year-end Holidays, Paid Holidays, Bereavement Leave, Maternity Leave, Paternity Leave, all other holidays determined by Japanese law.
